Here is the video from AC Milan training on Friday 27 January 2012 at the Centro Sportivo Milanello. AC Milan preparing for the Serie A Week 20 match against Cagliari to be played on Sunday 29 January in San Siro at 20:45.

Milan back training the day after qualifying for the Coppa Italia Semifinal eliminating Lazio.   No time to rest, but continue training for Serie A games.

The players who played yesterday evening worked out in the gym while
the rest of the squad took to the central pitch at noon. They included
Abbiati, Roma, Emanuelson, Zambrotta, Nesta, Antonini, Comi, Carmona,
Ely, Calvano.

They started with a 30-minute keep-ball session and then divided into
two groups for a match of 15 minutes each way, with the goalkeepers
taking part.

The injured players went through their own personalised training.  Good news for Milan with the incorporation of first goalkeeper Christian Abbiati back to train with the group.  In his absence for injury, second goalkeeper Marco Amelia taking over with positive result.

AC
Milan are in the 2nd position with 40 points and a positive goal
difference of +23.  Cagliari are in the 11th position with 23 points and
a negative goal difference of -2.

This is the match to watch for those following closely the race for the
Scudetto.  There are only 3 points difference between Juve and Udinese. 
Juventus being the sole leader with 41 points and a positive goal
difference of  +19.  Udinese are in the 3rd position with 38 points and a
positive goal difference of +14.  We might say motivation is high for
both teams for different reasons.    Juventus are battling in the Coppa
Italia Semifinal while Udinese out of the Coppa Italia, but battling in
the UEFA Europa League.

Here is the thing guys.  If Udinese defeat Juventus, they will 41 points and if AC Milan defeat Cagliari, then, the sole leader will be AC Milan with 43 points… so, it’s anybody game…..

It’s Official, Forward Maxi Lopez New AC Milan Player on Friday 27 January 2012

Finally, the Carlos Tevez Saga is over.  AC Milan making the official announcement on the signing of former Catania forward Maxi Lopez on Friday 27 January 2012.  The transfer market from Lopez easier than the rocky road negotiations to sign the Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez turning impossible.  The news received with a big smile by Maxi Lopez who was already in Milan awaiting for the news.   Maxi Lopez signed a contract on loan
from Catania Calcio until June 30 2015, with an option to make the move permanent. 


Italian Soccer Serie A wishes Argentinian Maxi Lopez a successful season with his new team.  Buena suerte Maxi!

MILAN - Milan have announced that they have signed Maxi Lopez on loan
from Catania Calcio, with an option to make the move permanent. The
player has signed a contract to June 30, 2015.

MILAN - After an intense afternoon, Milan has made its choice. Maxi
Lopez is a new Rossoneri player. He comes to fulfill the dream of a
lifetime after days of waiting were rewarded tonight shortly after 7pm.

The
attacker joins from Catania, where he arrived in January 2010 and
helped save the Sicilians from relegation with 11 goals in 17 games: An
average worthy of the best strikers in the continent. Even last year, he
was in double figures confirming him as one of the top strikers in
Serie A.

Maxi started out at River Plate where he won three
Argentine titles, then he made the big jump to Europe with Barcelona
where he helped them win a Champions League and two Liga titles.

And
then Majorca, FK Moscow, Gremio and then finally the arrival in Italy
with Catania. Now Milan. The dream has been fulfilled. Welcome Maxi.
