Good morning my friends. Good morning, good morning.  Its one more day for the Coppa Italia Final Juventus - Napoli and headlines all about the big clash.  Headlines for Juventus wanting to end the season unbeaten.  However, hold your horses because headlines also for Napoli with President Aurelio De Laurentis energizing his players to win this game.  For De Laurentis the victory will be the right prize for the City.   Headlines also about transfer market, being the hot potato the one for Juventus in the duel for Suarez-Higuain.  Hum? Yep? Which one do you prefer?  I think Suarez will be good choice.

Another headline is that of AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani sending the clear message to Manchester City that Ibrahimovic is not for sale and that he will remain with Milan to win.   Oh my gosh.. hello, although no Italian team in the Champions League Final, the headline also covering Italian coach Di Mateo with his Chelsea challenging Bayern Munich.  You better believe that I will be rooting for Chelsea!!!! And you?    Anyway, Chelsea is my favorite EPL team.

Everyone loves a scoring goalie: Danijel Subasic (Monaco) vs Boulogne

Danijel Subasic (Monaco) vs BoulogneUsually when things like this happens it’s not a one off.

There are a handful of goalkeepers located in various corners of the planet who carry reputations for scoring free-kicks and penalties with some regularity. That statement, however, fails to ring true for Danijel Subasic.

27-years-old, current Monaco custodian Subasic had never scored a goal in his career before Friday night. Then, against relegation threatened Boulogne, that all changed.

In the 56th minute, with the scores locked a one-apiece, the Principality won a free-kick just outside the home Boulogne box. Croatian keeper Subasic deceided to marked 80-yards upfield to stand over the set-play, and amazingly the goalie curled a low shot into the bottom corner.

The Bubbles Are Back! Vaz Te’s late winner sees West Ham beat Blackpool 2-1 in the playoff final

Blackpool 1 – West Ham 2 (Championship Playoff Final, May 19, 2012) The Irons were first to strike late in the first half when Matt Taylor made headway down the left before playing a delightful ball to Carlton Cole, who brought it down well and buried it into the roof of the net. Blackpool levelled early in the second half when Matt Phillips pinged a perfect pass over the West Ham defence for Thomas Ince, and the youngster drilled a superb angled finish past Rob Green. With three minutes remaining West Ham scored the clincher as Carlton Cole shifted the ball to Ricardo Vaz Te in the Seasiders’ box, and the Portuguese forward slammed the winner into the roof of the net.

An Unbelievable Overhead on the Angle: Carlos Luna (Tigres) v Newell’s Old Boys

Carlos Luna (Tigres) v Newells Old BoysTigres went top of the Argentinian Clausura on Friday night, and they did so in style.

Forward Carlos Luna was the hero claiming a match-winning hat-trick for Tigres, and his third and final goal was a moment of magic.

Following an 81st minute Tigres corner, the ball was headed up in the air around the edge of the six-yard box. Then, despite moving away from goal and having just the narrowest of angles to aim for, “Chino” Luna launched himself into an overhead-kick that resulted in a sublime golazo.

Watch Luna’s unbelievable overhead on the angle here.
